How old is willy paul

He was born in September 1993 in  Mathare slums situated in Nairobi Kenya. He was born in a family where both father and mother comes from different countries. His father is from Tanzania while his mother is said to be from Uganda.

Before being recognized, Willy Paul was working in a Jua Kali sector. He had no otherwise to work in such sectors since he was supposed to take care of his mother who was ailing at that time. Her ailing mother forced Willy paul to cut short his education so that he can take care of her.

Willy Paul Music Journey

Due to his hard work, Willy paul Biography took another dimension, Willy paul started enjoying the fruits of his labour. He has been invited to many countries for performances including the U.S.A where he had a music tour. When he was doing gospel music, Willy Paul was awarded at Groove awards as male gospel artist of the year.

His Song Rabuka was his first song and I can say this is when his journey as a musician started. Rabuka was released in 2010 and it was followed by “Sitolia”, a Collabo with Gloria Muliro which did wonder.  The song was simply talking about his life and all he has gone through. Through this song, Willy paul explained how he is grateful for what God has done so far.

Willy Paul and Miss P

The two have been working together for a while but their working relationship came to an end when Miss P accused Willy Paul of sex allegations. According to Miss P, Willy Paul forced him to have unprotected sex several times. At first, she never made any decision since she was protecting her music career. She later decided to inform her mother who assisted her with medical attention.

Later, Willy paul visited Miss P family and after talking to Miss P mother, Willy Paul was forgiven. Nothing changed between Willy Paul and Miss p and after some time, Willy paul started again asking for sexual favours from Miss P. Miss p had no otherwise than to come on air where she addressed the issue.

Music album

On 5th December 2013, Willy paul released his first album titled ” You Never Know”. The launching was done at KICC. Some of the artists who attended include; Daddy Owen, Ben Githae, Gloria Muliro, Dk Kwenye beat, Ben Bahati, Bahati, Men Of God (MOG), Size 8, Mr Seed, Shiru Wa GP, Betty Bayo, Danny Gift, DJ Sadic and DJ Mo.

Some of the songs which were in his first album include, A second collabo with Gloria Muliro, ” Najitia Kitanzi”, you never know, lala salama, mapenzi and many more.

Music tour

In 2014, Willy paul started his music tour which was organized by Talanta Awards. His first place to perform was Sacramento California and his performance was held on March 10. He had a chance to share the same stage with Polly Odotte of The house of glory church.

His music tour didn’t end there, Willy Paul also attended Neema Gospel Church in Dallas Texas. On March 15, he was at St Louisiana, Missouri. It was one of his best experiences and he must be grateful for what God has done so far. Between March 26 to 30, Willy Paul performed at Neema community church in overland park Kansas. His music tour ended on 27th April in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The beef between Willy Paul and Bahati

The two boys have been in a cold war for a long time. Willy Paul claimed Bahati has been stealing his songs. Bahati’s fans never took the accusation lightly and they decided to stand with Bhati.

Their beef came to an end on 22 April 2015 at groove awards where Willy paul and Bahati attended the event. Bahati and Willy were forced to reconcile in front of thousands of people. Prayers were done to end their enmity and they promised to end their differences.

Willy Paul and Size 8

The two has been friends for a while and their collabo always wins people’s heart. Tamu tamu which was a collaboration between the two won two awards.  Tamu tamu won as the Mdundo song of the year. Willy Paul also won as the best male artist of the year due to this song.

At the moment, willy paul is doing secular music claiming that those in the gospel industry does not like him.
